What Do You Need For High Quality Men's Socks?
Socks are stuck between sweaty feet and tight shoes all day long. They are constantly chafed and pulled as we walk and then thrown in the washing machine, washed in (often too) hot water and, despite what the care instructions say, chucked in the tumble dryer. The whole process then starts again like a savage ritual! So how can we still ensure high-quality socks?
This is the job of the master sockmaker. He ensures that the quality of our socks is impeccable, and does not rest until he is satisfied with the results.
1. Material
The length of the fibres in the processed yarn is important for high quality. The longest fibres are found in Peruvian Pima cotton.
The cotton is spun with other fibres to make the yarn. The more compact the yarn, the more resistant to wear the fabric is once woven. This gives our socks, underwear and T-shirts their unparalleled levels of quality.
2. Workmanship
A strong yarn must be woven as tightly as possible in order to achieve maximum durability and quality. CNC-controlled knitting machines tightly knit our socks, guaranteeing long-lasting, high-quality socks.
Socks undergo much greater stress in the heel and toe area than in the rest of the sock, so thicker yarns are used here or the yarn is worked multiple times during the knitting process.
3. Origin
Because we view quality as vitally important, all of our socks are made in Europe. The majority are produced in a factory in northern Italy, with others coming from Turkey.
The color, fabric and fit of our socks are regularly tested in person by the production manager.
5. The Right Sizes
Quality also means being able to find the right sizes. Our socks are therefore available in shoe sizes 3½ – 15½, ensuring perfect sock quality even for larger feet.

6. Certification
As socks lie directly against the skin and this can absorb chemical substances, it is important that chemically harmless dyes are used.
For maximum quality, our products hold Oeko-Tex 100 certification, meaning that they are colored with dyes that are completely skin-friendly.
8. Regular Testing
So that we can ensure high-quality socks for many years to come, our socks are not only tested by us, but also by Kassensturz and K-Tipp.
Our traditional calf socks particularly impress with their high quality.
