Classy Calf Socks in Navy: For Yacht Captains and Captains of Industry
Based on the reliable Classic calf socks – millions of which have been sold since 1999 – we have developed the Classic calf socks in navy. What hasn't changed is the socks' soft and highly robust Pima cotton. The new feature is the fine stripes that visually stop at the ribbing. The micro pattern gives the impression that the socks are single-colored and makes them easier to combine.
- Based on our best-selling Classic calf socks, with millions already sold
- Originally available in black only, now in multicolored designs
- Since 2012, the socks have also been available with a communication button: Smarter Socks
- 72% cotton (Pima), 28% polyamide
Micro Pattern Gives the Impression of a Single Color
The fine stripes, stopping at the elegant ribbing, create a pattern that looks like a single color when viewed from a certain distance. This makes the socks easy to combine and suitable for any occasion – without being boring.
Made in Italy
I come from a small sock manufacturer in northeast Milan, which makes me Italian. They create high-quality socks such as me with a great passion for detail. Three siblings are running the business in second generation ensuring that lots of socks turn out as good as me.
Finest Pima cotton
It takes more than just good origins to make good socks – you also need high-quality materials. I am made of high-quality Pima cotton, better known as the silk of South America. This guarantees a lasting softness and comfort when worn.
I am strengthened with polyamide in the heel and sole area, meaning that I can withstand daily rubbing in shoes without developing holes. My band contains elastane to stop me from slipping down.
Millions of sales
I may be unique, but I am not a one-off, as good ideas tend to be copied. Millions of me have been produced, sold and sent since the summer of 1999. Tens of thousands of men put me on every day. They don’t go easy on me, whether in everyday life or in unusual situations. I have visited every continent and have been to Antarctica and the roof of Africa.
100% skin-friendly & allergy-tested
I am good for you, your feet and your skin: I have been tested and I meet the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
This standard says that I am 100% skin-friendly and allergy-tested. We often forget that socks are worn directly against the skin, in a damp and warm climate subjected to friction.
Also in color
My first eight years were black. The same went for my buddies in the sock range. That’s now a thing of the past.
I have been available in different colours since 2007, but with the same level of quality.
