Total Easy Care
I come equipped with a Total Easy Care finish, which means that you can happily wash Merino Wool Socks at 30 degrees in the washing machine and I will not shrink. Even after countless washes, I will still look virtually as good as new. Anything else would just be a pain for you.
No mulesing
My wool comes from Merino sheep that have not been subjected to mulesing. This is something I am very proud of, as mulesing is cruel: in order to prevent fly infestations in the folds in the buttock area, a piece of skin is cut away when the animal is young. This generally causes long-term pain, and is not something we want to be involved in.
My wool therefore comes from animals that are guaranteed not to have been subjected to mulesing. This costs a bit more, but I feel so much better this way.

We merino socks are not only soft as wool - we are real all-rounders. We provide warm feet in winter, and cool when it's warm. So your feet stay fresh and odor-free!

I come from a small sock manufacturer in northeast Milan, which makes me Italian. They create high-quality socks such as me with a great passion for detail. Three siblings are running the business in second generation ensuring that lots of socks turn out as good as me.
For people & the environment
The cultivation of textile raw materials, especially cotton, requires a lot of water and a lot of energy. The consumption of energy leads to CO2. In addition to the production of the raw materials, each processing stage plays a role in this. The best thing for the environment is if the products are produced in an environmentally friendly way and last as long as possible. This is why my raw materials were processed exclusively in Europe with the goal of a long service life.

I am good for you, your feet and your skin: and to prove it, I passed the test for the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
This standard says that I am 100% skin-friendly and allergy-tested. This is important, since we often forget that socks are worn directly against the skin in a damp, warm climate subjected to friction.
Paper packaging
I am packaged in a small paper bag to protect me from dirt. Protection is important to ensure that I reach you in all my glory. Plastic has been out since January 2020. Isn’t that much better? And if you recycle the paper, that would be even better still.

One month before renewal time, you will receive a letter from BLACKSOCKS to remind you and ensure that you don’t forget to renew. If only everything was so easy.
