European Test Winner

In addition to substantiation from our 60,000 customers, in February of 2008, BLACKSOCKS was declared the winner out of 14 of the best-selling men’s socks by two consumer Swiss magazines, Kassensturz and Ktipp (similar to the US Consumer Reports magazine). The testing was done by an independent product tester in Germany called the Hohenstein Institute.

BLACKSOCKS received a 5.2 out 6 points, the highest rating of the group. The socks were tested for comfort and durability. In the test, the socks were rubbed continually back and forth against a standardized textile. It took 30,000 times for the first hole to appear in the toe area.
