  • What is a Sockscription?

    A sockscription is a trademark service offered by BLACKSOCKS, which delivers 3 pairs of socks to your home. You can opt for 3, 4 or 6 deliveries of socks per year. Once you make your selection, the socks are sent automatically on equally timed intervals over a 12 month period. The first order is received within two weeks of making the first purchase. The sockscriptions are available in many different styles and colors: calf, business light, over-the-calf or knee high, low sneaker socks and cashmere. Sockscriptions are also a popular gift item as they offer multiple deliveries to the recipient.

  • How can I subscribe to the Sockscription service?

    There are 3 different ways of subscribing to the Sockscription program:

  • Why can’t I just order a 10-Pack?

    If you prefer to order the 10-pack the price is comparable to the sockscription option. However we view the 10-pack as a starter kit and recommend the sockscription as a long term solution. The subscription provides you with a fresh batch of socks, just before the socks start disappearing in the black hole of the washing machine, under the hotel room bed, chewed by the dog or locked up in the gym locker. Regardless of how it happens, it’s inevitable that your socks will be lost.

    Let’s face it: is there really a convenient time to buying socks? With our sock subscription, you are always provided with what you need when you need it. This means one less hassle and more time for yourself.

    A 10-pack provides a quick fix to the symptoms. For the very moment, you’ve got everything you need, BLACKSOCKS provides a long terms solution – and once you subscribe, it takes less than 3 minutes to renew.

  • When will I receive my deliveries?

    You will receive the first delivery immediately. Deliveries we receive by 2:30 pm are sent out the very same day. All trial socks and subscriptions are sent by regular mail in order to avoid shipping charges. They are mailed from Europe and should be received in the United States and Canada in 10-14 working days, but usually sooner.

    Subsequent deliveries are processed every 3 or 4 months, depending upon your order preference. Shipping dates are also noted in your personal BLACKSOCKS account.

    If you have forgotten your e-mail address or your password, please contact our customer service at and we will send you a new one.

  • How can I unsubscribe?

    Online: Before renewing your sock subscription, we send you an e-mail. This e-mail offers you various options to choose from, among others our point-and-click cancellation. You may also send an e-mail to We will confirm your cancellation in an e-mail.

  • Has your subscription been renewed without your authorization?

    Just send us an e-mail to There are two basic options to choose from:

    1. If you wish to keep the merchandise, we will charge you the first delivery of the subscription.

  • How do I order a gift Sockscription?

    Sockscriptions make an excellent gift for your father, spouse, husband, son – virtually anyone who wears socks! We offer two options:

    Gift voucher:


    You can order a gift voucher through our website, and include a personalized message of about 200 characters. The voucher is sent as a PDF file by email which you can either print out and present in person or send by email. Each voucher contains a code which can be redeemed at checkout Please note that when you are entering an order for a gift voucher, write your name in the “customer address” box and the recipient’s e-mail address in the “e-mail address” box.

    If you want to send a gift subscription directly to the recipient, the process is very simple. Make your selection, and then select the gift option and fill out the recipients delivery information. We also have room for you to include a gift message and your identity is clearly marked on the package so that the recipient knows who is sending the gift. For birthdays or other specific occasions, you can specify the exact date that you want the gift to arrive, and we will make every attempt to deliver it on the desired date.

    If you prefer to have the first group of the gift subscription delivered to your home so that you can hand deliver the gift yourself, please write an e-mail to our customer service and we will schedule the order accordingly.

    Business Gifts:
    Want to send a BLACKSOCKS subscription as a holiday or thank you gift to your customers? For orders of 25 items or more, we will print your company logo and a personalized message on the order slip. The BLACKSOCKS subscription makes a great corporate gift because of the repetitive nature of the gift. Customers are reminded of you and your business three times a year.   • Postal charges?

    All of our deliveries include free shipping, regardless of order size.  Prices also include applicable tax.

  • How do you redeem a voucher?

    The voucher option is presented during the checkout process. To redeem your voucher, select the product or products you are purchasing, add them to the shopping cart and then proceed to “checkout.” During the payment process, select the voucher option and fill in the code that is printed on it.

  • How do I get my pair of bonus socks?

    If you recommend someone for a subscription or starter kit, you are eligible to receive a complimentary pair of socks. Ask the recipient to fill in your name and contact information under “Recommended by” when he or she subscribes, and we will send you an extra pair in your next order. If there are no pending orders, we’ll send the bonus socks in a separate delivery.

  • How much do the products cost?

    Prices vary, depending upon which style you choose. An annual subscription for calf socks that delivers 9 pair in one year, costs $89.00. The lighter trouser socks are slightly higher. All the prices are listed in the shopping section of the web site. Our prices are all inclusive-including tax and shipping to any location in the world. We accept major credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa) and Paypal.

  • What sizes do the socks come in?

    Our socks are based on your shoe size, runing from sizes 3-1/2 to 15-1/2. Our underwear and T-shirts are available in sizes Small to XX-Large. For further reference, check out our sizes chart.

  • Collecting miles

    When taking out a subscription, you can collect between 500 and 2550 “Miles & More” miles. At the end of an order process, you will see the total amount of miles you will receive, as well as a box where you may enter your “Miles & More” customer number. You can only collect miles with subscription offers - all other products such as starter kits, trial and taster packages do not offer you this option.

  • I am having trouble checking out. What could be the problem?

  • My credit card shows charges and my order never went through. Why am I being charged?

    This is a temporary hold on your credit card placed by your bank/credit card company. We have contacted your bank/credit card company. They will remove the hold in 3-5 business days. Your order will not be captured, charged, or processed.
